Taking influence from rock outfits like Jimmy Eat World, Death Cab For Cutie and fellow Canadians Treble Charger, Neither Could Dylan began as the independent project of multi-instrumentalist and music producer Jaimee Jakobczak from Woodbridge, Ontario.

While previous releases have seen Jaimee showcase her melodic, aggressive, and unapologetically honest style full of snarky quips and crunchy guitars in a no holds barred-DIY-home-recorded fashion, Neither Could Dylan embraces a tamer and more introspective look at the world as she sees it and leans into a more mellow acoustic-based foundation. The result is a much more vulnerable collection of songs that allow for better communication about the experiences that inspired them.
