An American Underground Legend of the 1970s and '80s, Mouksa is a highly versatile Hungarian-American artist whose career bridged two continents and musical eras. Rooted in the American counterculture, his early work included collaborations with Carole King and an appearance at Woodstock.
After moving to Budapest in the early 2000s, Mouksa became a significant force in Hungarian music, leading bands like The Awakening, The Psychedelic Cowboys, and The Mouksa Underground (which later became MU Underground with new members). Remarkably, during this time, he also hosted a radio show and earned a Ph.D.
