Clelia

This experimental avant-garde spoken word and sound collage project by Clelia, released through Treefrog Productions on February 13, 2026, presents an English-language exploration of texture, voice, and musical abstraction. Rooted in an experimental mood and style, the album weaves fragmented narration with layered sonic elements, drawing inspiration from the minimalist and conceptual traditions associated with Alvin Lucier and the boundary-pushing aesthetic found in retrospectives from Ninja Tune. The material was first recorded in Fall 2023 under the band name San Beulah, an experimental side project created by Clelia during a period when she did not feel comfortable releasing music under her real name. San Beulah functioned as a creative vessel for risk-taking and sonic experimentation, allowing the work to emerge organically before being consolidated and presented under her primary artist identity.
