Olio Flux is back with a highly anticipated third album, Lazy Dog Days. Blending warm melodies, introspective lyrics, and a signature lo-fi charm, Lazy Dog Days captures the essence of slow, sun-drenched afternoons and the beauty of taking life as it comes.

Following the success of previous releases, Lazy Dog Days deepens Olio Flux’s sonic identity, weaving together intricate acoustic arrangements, subtle electronic textures, and raw, heartfelt vocals. The album is a reflection on time, nostalgia, and the simple joys of existence.

I have three lazy bones near my feet when I am in my music room, Eisenhower (Ike), Pinky and Scottie. They visit me upstairs, pop their heads up for a pat on the head and enjoy being in proximity, then back downstairs to see what everyone else is doing or to check on the household noise. Strangely enough they don't seem to mind the noise, as long as I don't startle them with volume or high frequencies. I think they have influenced the music in some ways. They certainly have influenced me and my moods. I thought a lot about them as these tracks were compiled and finally named. We all need some Lazy dog days. Enjoy.
