Blue Veils Volume 2

This is the second installation of the Blue Veils series at Signals Sound Lab recorded at Old Customs House in Walyalup (Fremantle) as part of Scientia's five month sound residency.

Track 2 is a solo piece by Scientia created using vintage test equipment, modular synth and found sounds from the Walyalup area.

Tracks 1,3-4 and 6 are collaborations with Boorloo sound artist Bilg. Created with Scientia using vintage test equipment, modular synthesiser and found sounds accompanied by Bilg using the DX-7, Roland Jupiter-4, ARP Odyssey, Roland-SH101, Roland Juno, Hydrasynth and other equipment found at Signals Sound Lab. The found sounds were collected from Walyalup beach and surrounding area.

Track 5 - Chromosomium was created by LabCoat X at Signals Sound Lab using vintage test equipment and various vintage synthesisers in the lab at Old Customs House in Fremantle. LabCoat X are Will Axten and Gaëtan Schurrer - the founders of Signals Sound Lab and the inspiration behind the Blue Veils Sound Residency.
