"Kräftskiva" was recorded by Björn Eklund and Anja Blomgren in Björn's bedroom about a year before Lars Karlsson joined the group. Björn recorded on free digital software and mixed onto a cassette boombox, only making two copies. The title refers to the "Crayfish Parties" that are popular in Sweden. The music has more of a rock flavor while still pulsing with the band's trademark electronica-downtempo vibe. Eklund and Blomgren basically jammed while recording, creating the music on the spot. Later they had the idea to add insect and animal noises, and created a cover image to match that sound. ddimuro mastered from one of the cassette copies.
