Catford Gyrations

Catford Gyrations is the musical project of Andy Jones, a London based musician who creates instrumental music that absorbs a broad range of influences, and often seeks inspiration from his surrounding local environment.

Prior to Catford Gyrations, Andy had previously been involved in indie pop outfit Kicker, who released a series of singles and LPs between 1999 and 2005. After the band’s demise, Andy set about finding a new means of creating music at home, and started work on his debut eponymous LP in 2016. The album’s development was documented on his website (www.catfordgyrations.com), as an ongoing work in progress, and finally released in April 2023.

In addition to the LP, Andy has also released a string of singles: A205 EP (Jan 2020), I'm going outside (Jul 2020), and Eros EP (Oct 23). The latter being a collection of remixes of previous released tracks.
