Oceans of Stars

Romania's Ocean of Stars and their recently released "Jangly Noise" album caught our attention in early January 24 with the most precious of jangly shoegaze / C86 sounds imaginable. Two e-mails later and the deal was done for us to release this wonderful album !!!

Filtering the most subtle of shoegaze through fuzz-pop, indie-pop and genuine jangle-pop inflections this stunning solo project of Christian Stefanescu (aka Stephen Big) will appeal to fans of The Field Mice and Lush in equal measures, whilst also simultaneously sitting alongside the recent burnished jangly melancholy of Subjangle labelmates Shopfires and The Boltons.
