War Horny

As the title suggests, War Horny is an album that explores the timeless themes of sex and death - the forces of eros and thanatos that guide so much of our existence. Songs like "choir in disguise," "wages of outer space," "filing me away" and "worm mountain" come from my experiences with love and romance in the apocalypse, while "medical curiosity, "higher concentration," and "amnesia seeking" focus on drug addiction, mental illness, and the death drive. The music on War Horny is sample and synth-based (created in real time with hardware), falling somewhere between art rock, hip hop, and post-punk, but each song has an experimental flavor entirely it's own. If you listen close, you may even hear certain aspects borrowed from folk music from the late 1900s. Go to battle with this record...I know you want it.
