"So Beautiful (by Das Schwa)" by Herr Wade

The project Herr Wade is finished. But it would be a shame if all those songs were not to live on. That’s what the Münster-based indie rock supergroup das schwa thought, and in cold, cold February this year, in a euphoric mood, they recorded an album featuring eight songs from the German-Norwegian project's extensive catalogue.

The result is a fantastic, catchy indie-rock debut album. (Incidentally, a second record – a collection of songs by band member Thorsten "Dörte" Mennebröcker – is already in the pipeline.)

Here, at any rate, you’ll find elegantly crafted and crooned songs, with the ‘wall of sound’ created not by an orchestra but by a host of different guitars and a pulsating rhythm section
