Long time followers of the Janglepophub blog that is connected to this Subjangle label will know of our devotion to the No Museums solo recording project of Edmonton's, Micheal Betmanis.
As such back in February 2025 we persuaded him to let us release his The Lighter Darker Age and Lowways albums as a double album on CD (previously digital releases), which flew off our fulfilment centres shelves to prove that his melodic, jangly fuzz-pop was stirring the musical inclinations of so many more people than just us !
Such is his unassuming nature he seems somewhat surprised that Subjangle offered to release more of his back catalogue, but spurred by the sudden realisation that people love his work, we managed to persuade him to release Pale Blue Eyes (Feb 2022) and my personal favourite "Folk Terrors" (Jan 2022) on a double album CD release...hopefully it will not end here as he has a whole host of wonderful music never issued on physical format before !
