Peter Dizozza
Denise Tape B (1979)
Salieri Records is proud to present 'Denise Tape B - (1979)', a collection of song sketches and raw recordings that finds legendary NYC songwriter and composer Peter Dizozza at a 1945 Steinway Baby Grand in the late 70s. The recordings have all the warm trappings and silent camaraderie of a slipshod Guided by Voices album with all the storytelling and singular drive of mid-period Terry Allen. Working with contributions from different musical minds that surrounded Peter's early work, 'Denise Tape B' shows the artist celebrating a communal atmosphere in isolation - a familiar theme that would return many times later in his discography.
